Bit of Background

Beth Holmes graduated with a BA in English Literature from the University of Michigan and an MFA in Theatre from the California Institute of the Arts and began her career working at the television and film casting offices of Bengston/Cohn Casting. While there she built a commercial casting department, pioneering the trend of casting both professional actors and real people in comedy campaigns. She opened bhci in 1992 and has enjoyed continued success as a leader in the Los Angeles casting community. Her casting career came full circle with director Ted Melfi, and producer Fred Roos, who brought Beth back to film, hiring her for the Los Angeles casting for the film ST. VINCENT in 2014.

Beth is on the Steering Committee of the Commercial Casting Directors Association, a professional group extending their efforts to support casting directors in the Los Angeles production community.

Lindsay Bellock Lieber graduated from Brandeis University with Honors in Theatre Arts. She began her casting career at Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer Casting where she worked on such shows as CSI, Dexter, Nip/Tuck, Glee, and Supernatural as well as pilots for FOX and Imagine Entertainment. Before bhci, Lindsay completed the casting on 5 indie film projects.
